Torino – Napoli

Torino hosts Napoli in a game from the 36th round of the Italian Serie A. It’s a very important game for the away team, as Napoli are in a fierce battle with Roma for the second place in the league and a direct qualification for the Champions League.

Right now Napoli are just on one point behind Roma. Roma are hosting the champion and current leader Juventus, so there’s a big chance to see them make a wrong step. This means that Napoli could take the second place, if they manage to win in Turin.

Torino on the other hand are playing for their own name until the end of the season. The Bulls are currently 9th in the league and it seems that they will finish the campaign at this position. They probably had a little bit higher expectations for this season, but it is what it is.

Napoli’s manager Maurizio Sarri has an almost full squad on his disposal. Nikola Maksimovic is the only player who is missing the match because of an ankle injury. Everyone else in Naples is fit and ready to play against Torino.

The home team will be without the suspended Emiliano Moretti and Afriyie Acquah. Carlos Carlao, Leandro Castán, Daniele Baselli and Lorenzo De Silvestri are still recovering from injuries, so it’s not clear if they will be ready to play against The Azzurri.

In terms of current form, Napoli are performing much better than its opponent. They have won four of their last five matches, losing points only during the draw with Sassuolo away from home. In the last round they beat Cagliari with 3-1 at home.

Torino made three draws in their last five games, including the last two. But they are also unbeaten in these last five matches. In the last round The Bulls won a point in the city derby with Juventus, scrapping a 1-1 draw at the Juventus Stadium.
