Roma – Torino
Roma hosts Torino in a game from the 20th round of the Serie A. Allow us to take a look at this clash at the Stadio Olimpico in the Italian capital city.
Roma are having some trouble this season, being unable to lock their place in the Top 4. Right now the Wolves are 6th in the Serie A standings, although being just 2 points behind the 4th Lazio. So far Roma’s record in the league shows 8 wins, 6 draws and 5 defeats. Surely the team’s manager Eusebio Di Francesco would have liked some better consistency since the beginning of the season.
In their last five fixtures Roma won three times, made one draw and suffered one defeat. In their last game Di Francesco’s boys achieved a 2-0 win during the visit to Parma. Bryan Cristante and Cengiz Under scored the two goals for the visiting team. For Roma this was a second consecutive win after the one against Sassuolo at the Olimpico.
As for Torino, the Bulls are positioned in the middle of the standings, being 9th. They have 27 points won so far and a record of 6 wins, 9 draws and 4 losses. In their last five games Torino won just once – against Empoli, also doing three draws and suffering one defeat.
In their last game Torino made a 1-1 draw during the visit to Lazio at the Olimpico. Andrea Belotti opened the score for the Bulls from a penalty kick, but Sergej Milinkovic-Savic equalized for Lazio.
It shall be an interesting game between Roma and Torino on Saturday afternoon. Both teams have suffered only one loss in their last five games, so they are clearly in a good shape at the moment. Roma are favourites to win at home, but Torino are a good team. Be careful.
