Real Madrid hosts PSG

It’s a perfect time for another thrilling derby in the Champions League because on Tuesday Real Madrid hosts PSG at the Santiago Bernabeu in the beautiful capital of Spain.

Right now PSG are having a good advantage at the top of the group, being 5 points ahead of the second Real Madrid. Even a draw at the Bernabeu would be enough for the French champion to win the group. So far Thomas Tuchel’s boys are perfect in the competition – four wins from four games played. In most of the time PSG were without the injured Neymar, but they proved that they can do even better without him.

For Real Madrid this is a game of honour because Los Blancos will try to avenge the 0-3 defeat they suffered against PSG in the first round. It was a pretty bad game for the Spanish team at the Parc des Princes. Real Madrid’s former star Angel Di Maria scored a brace in Thibaut Courtois’ net, while Thomas Meunier added one more for the hosts.

Even if they don’t win the group, Real Madrid would like to avenge this defeat and restore their pride. Zinedine Zidane’s team won its last two games in the group against Galatasaray. It was particularly impressive in the previous round, when Madrid scored six goals against the Turkish side. The young Brazilian star Rodrygo was the hero of the night, scoring a hattrick – his first for the club.

James Rodriguez continues to be sidelined for Real Madrid, while Nacho and Lucas Vasquez are also not avaliable for selection.

Meanwhile PSG’s manager Thomas Tuchel can’t use the creative midfielders Ander Herrera and Marco Verratti. The good news for Tuchel is the return of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, who had injury problems.

A spectacle – this is what we expect to see between Real Madrid and PSG at the legendary Bernabeu on Tuesday. It can’t be anything else between these two great teams.
