Netherlands has a near perfect record of 7 points after three matches played – two wins and one draw. They have three points advantage in front of Belgium and Poland, so they need to win here and at least keep this distance. In their last game Oranje lost points for a first time in the group. Van Gaal’s boys hosted Poland and they were two goals behind, but managed to equalise with two quick goals in the beginning of the second half. Davy Klaassen and Denzel Dumfries scored for the hosts. This time Memphis Depay didn’t score, but he provided the assist for Dumfries’ equalising goal.

It’s qute possible to see Van Gaal making some small changes in his line-up. Matthijs de Ligt could return in defense while Atalanta’s Teun Koopmeiners is an option for midfield. The young striker Cody Gakpo could always start in attack as well.

Wales also made a draw in their last game and it was their first point in the group. The Dragons hosted Belgium and despite being underdogs, they secured a point after a 1-1 draw in Cardiff. Rob Page’s team was just minutes away from losing, but the substitution Brennan Johnson scored a late equaliser in the 86th minute. The legendary midfielder Aaron Ramsey provided the assist.
