Napoli – Inter Milan

Napoli and Inter Milan are going head to head on Saturday and the prize is big – a place in the Coppa Italia final. This a second leg from the competition’s 1/2-finals and Napoli have an advantage after the first game. Let’s preview it in these few paragraphs.

Napoli are the team with an advantage at the moment. Although many people considered Inter Milan favourites at the San Siro, Gennaro Gattuso’s boys clinched a precious 1-0 win. It was Fabian Ruiz who scored the winning goal for the visitors. That’s how Napoli turned to be favourites for reaching the final, but they have one more game to play.

Most likely Gennaro Gattuso will stick to his 4-3-3 formation, but don’t be surprised if the Azzurri take a more defensive approach on Saturday. Gattuso is aware of the fact that Inter Milan have a really strong attacking line, so it won’t hurt Napoli if they are more cautious than usual.

As for Inter Milan it’s “all or nothing” for them. With players like Lukaku, Lautaro and Eriksen, Inter Milan have a spectacular strenght in attack, so they will try to use it. The team dissapointed its fans in the first leg at the San Siro, but now at the San Paolo they can make things right.

We expect to see Christian Eriksen starting from the first minute in Naples. Inter will need a player to provide the decisive assists and the Danish playmaker is this kind of a player. Eriksen knows how to put strikers on scoring positions, so he would be instrumental for the visitors.

Napoli have the advantage over Inter Milan, but nothing is decided just yet. The Nerazzurri are good enough to win away from home, but Napoli won’t give up without some fight. We expect a spectacular game here.
