Deportivo Alaves – Valencia

Deportivo Alaves hosts Valencia at the Estadio de Mendizorroza in a fixture from the 10th round of La Liga. Are you ready to see a preview of this game?

At this moment Deportivo Alaves are sitting at 15th place with 9 points won so far. The club have a record of two wins, three draws and four losses in the matches so far. But they are unbeaten in their last three matches in the league which is giving them some bigger hope for the next one.

Before the break Alaves made a third draw for the season. Pablo Machin’s team paid a visit to Levante and won a point after a 1-1 draw in Valencia. Lucas Perez opened the score for the visitors after just four minutes of playing. For the veteran striker it was a first La Liga goal for the campaign.

Valencia will arrive in Alaves with a huge confidence after a terrific 4-1 win against Real Madrid before the international break. Los Che played their best game for the season and thrashed the current La Liga champion. Carlos Soler scored a hattrick from three penalties while Madrid’s Raphael Varane scored himself an own goal.

The head coach Javi Gracia could be happy with the way his team performed against Real Madrid. Valencia started the season after selling some key players, but now they are in the Top 10 being 9th in the standing with 11 points. This win over Madrid should give Los Che some mental advantages and should inspire the players before the next game.

That’s our preview for La Liga fixture between Deportivo Alaves and Valencia at the Mendizorroza on Sunday. The big question is – can Valencia do it again, two weeks after their majestic win over Real Madrid? They are playing away from home, but we believe they are favourites against Alaves.
