Burnley welcomes Chelsea

Burnley welcomes Chelsea at the Turf Moor in a game from the 10th round of the English Premier League. The Blues are in a really strong form right now, so it’d be curious to see if they continue like this. It’s never easy at the Turf Moor.

Frank Lampard’s Chelsea are on the rise right now. The Londoners are enjoying a run of six consecutive wins in all competitions, which is showing us that Chelsea’s young manager is starting to make the right touch on his team. The beginning was difficult for the former English international, but now the future is looking bright again.

During the week Chelsea made a great away performance in the Champions League, becoming the first team to beat Ajax since the start of the season. The Blues visited the Johan Cruijff Arena and clinched the win with a goal from Michy Batshuayi just four minutes before the end. The Belgian international entered the pitch after the break and scored the winner, provided with a good assist from another substitute – Christian Pulisic.

In the Premier League Chelsea are starting to find a good rhythm as well. At this moment the Europa League champions are 4th in the standings with 17 points, being just two points behind the second Manchester City.

Burnley are also doing pretty well so far, being 8th in the standings with 12 points. The Clarets have a really balanced of three wins, three draws and three losses. In their last game Sean Dyche’s boys suffered a defeat while visiting Leicester City at the King Power Stadium. Chris Wood opened the score for Burney, but the Foxes secured the win with goals from Vardy and Tielemans.

Although on paper Chelsea would look as favourites against Burnley at the Turf Moor, do not make a mistake – it’s going to be pretty tough for the Blues against Sean Dyche’s boys. It’s a difficult ground for every visitor.
